Trainer Profile

Trainer Profile: Rob Johnson

Rob Johnson joined the NLA as a member in January 2015 with the intention of both maintaining and advancing his knowledge regarding the responsibilities as a landlord and to share and promote good practice.  Rob later became an NLA local representative in and then joined the training team in February 2017.

Rob is based in South Manchester and has been a landlord for a number of years. He has a number of properties which range from apartments to terraced houses in and around the Manchester area. His tenants vary from professional tenants to working families, often with benefit support. He also own a holiday let.

“I am passionate about being a landlord and think it is vitally important to establish a good working relationship with your tenants and maintaining a high standard of property. Becoming a trainer has allowed me to focus deeper on those responsibilities that being a landlord brings and I enjoy sharing that knowledge with like-minded people”.
