These terms and conditions apply to anyone making a course booking (the ‘Booker’) and or anyone attending a course (the ‘Delegate’). Please read carefully.

Reference to ‘you’, ‘your’ means the Booker and or the Delegate. Reference to ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’ means the NLA.

  1. Variations to products, services, prices and promotional offers

Products or services offered by (or via) the NLA including prices and promotional offers may be subject to change or withdrawn at any time. Please visit the NLA website at www.landlords.org.uk for the most up to date information.

  1. Confirmation and payment

The Booker is required to pay a fee (the ‘Delegate Fee’) for each Delegate. Full and cleared payment is required in advance. A booking confirmation alone does not a guarantee a place.

Online: Credit and debit card payments (except American Express) only.

By post: Please make cheques payable to ‘TLA LTD’ and write ‘LDC’ and your NLA membership number (if appropriate) on the back of the cheque. Cheques must be received 14 days prior to course date.

By telephone: Credit and debit card payments (except American Express) or invoice to pay by BACS can be requested. Please leave enough time for funds to clear prior to the course date for BACS payments.

The Booker will be sent a booking confirmation once the booking has been completed and a receipt when full payment of the Delegate Fee has cleared. The booking confirmation and receipt will be sent electronically to the email address given by the Booker at the time of the booking. It is the Booker’s responsibility to forward the booking confirmation to Delegates (please ensure you have informed us of the Delegates’ names and dietary requirements in writing).  If the Booker does not receive or misplaces the booking confirmation and or receipt, it is the Booker’s responsibility to request a copy from us.

  1. Entry

NLA reserves the right to refuse entry.

Please inform us by email to bookings@landlords.org.uk or by telephone to 020 7840 8920 if you are aware you will, or are likely to be running late so that we can advise you of the best course of action.

If you arrive after the cut-off time (see table below) you will be refused entry as you will miss vital course content and may disrupt other Delegates. Late arrivals may be booked on to an alternative course at our absolute discretion, subject to a £20.00 (inc VAT) administration charge.

  1. Course etiquette

We ask that you let the trainer know prior to course commencement if you have any queries, questions or advice needed.  We will try our best to answer them before the end of the day or alternatively arrange appointments for a call back from the relevant department. Your trainer will be on hand to try to answer relevant questions regarding the course and there are ample questions and answer sessions.

If you need to take a call during the course please be mindful not to disturb other Delegates and other people at the venue.
