Clarification on Brighton and Hove council selective licensing

Brighton and Hove council approved selective licensing in November 2017 and sought approval from Government as it exceeded 20% of the private rented sector. In September of this year, MHCLG approved the scheme, due to commence in February 2019. On the 1st November the Designation for Selective Licensing was withdrawn by the Secretary of State. The application is currently being reconsidered for approval.
