National Register of Accredited Landlords

Landlord accreditation schemes recognise landlords who have worked hard to achieve consistently high standards of property management.

Accredited Landlords

If you’re already an accredited landlord, registration on the National Register of Accredited Landlords in recognition of your efforts and achievements is entirely free of charge!

If you’re already a member of the NLA and you’re NLA accredited, this will already be noted on the National Register so no further action is required.

Become an NLA member

As an NLA member, you can also register a Non-NLA accreditation you’ve achieved with another recognised accreditation scheme.

To do this, simply use your Membership Number and Security Code to log in to the NLA website, then select ‘My Profile’ from the left hand menu.

Once you’ve joined as a member, you can then follow the same procedure as above to register your accreditation.

Your entry will display as "awaiting verification" on the register until your accreditation scheme provider has validated the information with us. No personal details are displayed.

For Tenants

If you’re a tenant and you’d like to verify that your landlord is listed on the National Register of Accredited Landlords, visit our Tenants page for further information.

You’ll need to enter the unique NLA Member and the registered name of the landlord – ask your current or prospective landlord for these details if you’re not sure.

Please note that NLA Landlord Associates are not full paying members of the National Landlords Association but do have access to our extensive library of tenancy forms and letters.
