NLA Terms & Conditions for Call Credit Packages (available to Basic Members, Basic Plus Members and Landlord Associates)

Date these terms and conditions were revised: 14 July 2017 (revisions in purple)

[Previous revisions : 27/5/2013, 1/3/2015]

Basic and Basic Plus Membership is closed to new applicants and renewals with effect from 31 July 2017. Existing members retain their rights until their renew falls due. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

These supplementary terms and conditions govern the relationship between the National Landlords Association (“NLA”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and you as an associate (“Landlord Associate”), Basic Member and or Basic Plus Member (“you”, “your”) who wishes to purchase a telephone advice line Call Credit Package (“Call Package”).

Only those already registered with NLA may purchase a call credit package. By registering, you confirm that you are aged 18 years or older.

A call package consists of up to 3 phone calls to the NLA Telephone Advice Line (“Telephone Advice Line”).

A call package must be purchased before calling the telephone advice line: it is only available for purchase via our website (“website”) you will need a debit/credit card.

Cooling off period / Distance Selling Regulations

You agree that because we start to provide advice services immediately following your payment being accepted, you have no right to cancel your purchase under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations.

The telephone advice line is operational on business days between 9am & 5pm. If all advisors are engaged, you should leave a message on the answerphone. An advisor will attempt to return your call (we may ask you to call us back if you are ringing from outside UK) generally, but not necessarily, the same day.

The cost of the call package is refundable in full against the cost of any paid-for Membership category provided that you agree to upgrade within 90 days of purchasing a call package.

Telephone Advice Line

Telephone advice is only available to Full Individual, Family and or Business Members.

There is no access for Landlord Associates, Basic Members and or Basic Plus Members unless you have purchased a call package in advance.

The National Landlords Association is a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation and the telephone advice line operates a reasonable use policy.
