Response to Scarborough Borough Council’s proposal for selective licensing
The National Landlords Association (NLA) exists to protect and promote the interests of private residential landlords.
The NLA represents more than 60,000 individual landlords from around the United Kingdom. We provide a comprehensive range of benefits and services to our members and strive to raise standards within the private rented sector.
This is issue nine of The Rent Check, a collaboration between BDRC – the UK’s leading private rented sector (PRS) and buy to let (BTL) insight consultancy – and Allsop.
Published every six months, it’s a unique measure of the rents being agreed by landlords for PRS tenancies across England and Wales which tracks a large sample of NLA members, providing a statistically robust overview of the rental market. The data is also supplemented by research conducted with renters, in order to provide an inclusive outlook that other indices do not cover.
