hi all. I have a one-bedroom flat in Walthamstow, east London, with good sitting tenants, good future prospects and a proven five-year letting history. I'm looking to sell the property as a buy-to-let investment. I am using the same real estate agent who found the tenants for me but am becoming frustrated with them because they seem persistently keen to market it towards homebuyers despite my specifications and even though the tenants still have half a year to go on the lease and want to stay there. The agent seemed to feel the tenants could just be chucked out sooner rather than later despite their lease, which seems a curious take on it for an organisation which should have expertise on letting laws. Any advice?? ... And anyone out there looking to buy a good letting property in east London, let me know!
