Can anyone recommend any lenders who are ok with income from County Councils?

A bit of a Catch 22, we are buying a B & B with a good income from a County Council who are happy to continue to work with us as new owners.

However we are struggling to get lending in place as it comes under commercial lending, and we need to show B & B experience.

Any advice would be great!



Can you get a letter of intent from the council ? that would strengthen your business case.
Years ago I gave a letter of intent to assist a pub get finance to convert living space into hotel rooms, so they could accommodate our delegates on courses. Armed with that, even though not at that stage a contract, the bank were content to lend.
