Energy Efficiency and Insulation of Rental Properties - New Legislation and Support for Landlords

Joe Brookes, Energy Officer, Act on Energy

Act on Energy is a West Midlands charity set up to advise and encourage property owners and tenants on all aspects of energy efficiency and grant funding to reduce fuel costs and best insulate domestic properties. Joe Brookes will explain the current ECO funding available to landlords and tenants including the latest local offers and outline the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) legislation scheduled for April 2018 which will have implications for rental properties with poor EPC ratings.

NLA Member TradePoint Offer

TradePoint Manager, B&Q, TradePoint

The bespoke NLA TradePoint deal has already saved NLA members hundreds of thousands of pounds through its special discount scheme. But there is a lot more to the deal than just pricing. At the beginning of the meeting, your local TradePoint Manager will be present to meet and answer questions and then formally explain how the TradePoint scheme works for NLA members and landlords.
