Kevin Hepple, Business Development Manager, Impellar - in association with T&W Fire and Rescue
In response to member requests we have a representative from the Fire Service to come and talk about fire safety regulations. The topics to be covered will include:
Relevant legislation and achieving compliance
Fire Risk Assessments
Common faults and issues
Fire Doors / Fire Alarms
Question and Answer session.
Police Counter Terrorism Unit
Gemma will outline what is happening around the country with terrorism and in particular right wing groups and activists. This will include signs to watch out for that could indicate your tenants may be involved with an extremist organisation.
Bruce Haagensen, NLA Representative
Bruce will provide an update on all the various changes in legislation and requirements for landlords and local issues.
Bruce will also provide feedback to landlords on the survey results regarding engagement with the NLA. Thank you to those who took the time to respond - your views were very much appreciated and will be listened to.
As this will be our Christmas meeting and the season of goodwill, we will have refreshments before the start of the meeting with a seasonal mince pie with an opportunity to network from 6 - 6.30pm. Please register so that we know how many to cater for!
If you have any further queries please contact the NLA Representative for this area email@example.com
It is essential to book online in advance so that, should the event details change, we will know who to contact. Please note that where we are jointly organising a meeting with another organisation, the list of delegates’ surnames will be shared with that organisation. NLA Meetings are free to attend for NLA members, associates and all local landlords. If you have booked to attend this meeting and you find you need to cancel, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org. Include your name and the date and location of the meeting.
CONTINUED PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The hours spent attending this event will contribute towards Continued Professional Development (CPD) for NLA Accredited landlords. The relevant number of hours should be manually added to your CPD profile on the NLA Online Library.
