Why choose UKALA?
In an expanding private-rented sector, landlords and tenants increasingly need a letting agent that offers quality of service and peace of mind. At the same time, letting agents are seeking ways to successfully, and cost-effectively promote their services to both landlords and tenants.
UKALA offer a similar range of services to other associations, but what sets them apart from other representative bodies is the business benefit deriving from our unique relationship with the NLA.
A single, unified voice for the private rented sector
UKALA’s aims are two-fold. They are dedicated to representing the interests of letting and management agents in the UK, whilst also safeguarding the interests of both landlords and tenants.
Raising standards. Together
"Together we work to influence the sector as a whole. We can now represent the views and interests of agents and landlords at a local, national and European level. We seek to influence public policy by engaging with civil servants, parliamentarians, regulators and other interested bodies to ensure a fair and balanced private-rented sector. “The coming together of NLA and UKALA presents an excellent opportunity to move towards a more unified voice for the industry. We believe landlords and agents represent two sides of the same coin and this mutually beneficial relationship will benefit both as we strive to raise standards in the private-rented sector.”
