Ruth Millington - Yorkshire and Humber

A solicitor qualified in England and Wales, Ruth has spent over twenty years within the financial services sector, both in private practice and in-house within major international banks in both London and Sydney. Her specialisation is in advice on complex financial transactions, regulatory matters and private wealth management. She now consults on governance, legal and operational risk management, including MiFID II, Brexit and GDPR. She’s experienced in landlord and tenant issues, in both the residential and commercial sectors.
She recently moved back to her hometown of Sheffield to spend more time with her family. Property is one of her passions. With over 18 years’ experience as a landlord, owning a small portfolio of properties in London and northern England, which she self-manages. Ruth is also a writer. Her memoir of surviving the earthquake in Bam, Iran in 2003, is out for publication shortly.
