Matthew Oliver

Head of Regions

Prior to his appointment as Head of Regions, Matthew spent 3 years as Public Affairs Officer liaising with policy makers on behalf of private landlords.

Before joining the NLA, Matthew worked as Press and Projects Manager for a not for profit campaigns organisation called Unlock Democracy.  Here he ran a voter participation project called and ran a number of successful parliamentary lobbying campaigns, notably for the introduction for Individual Electoral Registration (IER).

He graduated in 2002 having read British Politics and Legislative Studies at Hull University and is a former Election Agent for the London Boroughs of Merton, Wandsworth and Sutton
