NLA Accreditation Foundation Course

The course is designed to help both new and experienced landlords develop their professional skills. The course focuses on the main issues facing landlords including:

• Finding tenants
• Setting up
• Managing and ending a tenancy
• Keeping records
• Repairing obligations.

The NLA are piloting the idea of facilitating a national accreditation scheme. The scheme is being tried in five regions throughout England, one of which is Middlesbrough. The scheme is open to all landlords and is based on the NLA’S core principles of landlord’s development and our code of practice. We are also the only organisation that is offering a complaints process for tenants and landlords as part of our scheme.
