Energy efficiency and improving your property

The cost of heating and benefit of improving energy-efficiency becomes more important during the winter.

There are a number of simple, low-cost measures that landlords can make to improve their properties and save both them and their tenants’ money. The cost of these improvements can often be reduced through grants or offset by the Landlord’s Energy Savings Allowance.

These measures may also help landlords obtain a better rating, if carried out before commissioning a new Energy performance Certificate.
