How much does it cost?

The Courses

NLA Accredited Landlord Foundation Course
One day course designed to help both new and experienced landlords to develop their professional skills. Content covers the main issues facing landlords, including: Finding tenants, setting up, managing and ending a tenancy, keeping records and repairing obligations.

Possession
One day course on how to regain Possession of your property, with practical workshops on filling in the forms and notices.

Portable Appliance Testing
One day course designed for landlords wishing to carry out safety checks on the electrical appliances they provide for their tenants.

Deposits, damages and disputes
Half day course on deposits, damages and disputes, incorporating inventories and how to deal with disagreement between the landlord and tenant.

Local Housing Allowance
Half day course on Local Housing Allowance, what to be wary of and how the system can work for landlords.

NLA Accredited Landlord Foundation Course

The NLA runs conventional one-day courses. The programme is designed to help both new and experienced landlords to develop their professional skills.

The course focuses on the main issues facing landlords, including:

• finding tenants
• setting up
• managing and ending a tenancy
• keeping records
• repairing obligations

The programme offers an excellent opportunity to network with other landlords and discuss face-to-face ideas, problems and possible solutions.
